Policies, Ethics and Ideology

  1. Charity and Sustainability

People who have already had almost everything taken away by this disease shouldn’t be further disadvantaged financially by engaging with me.

What this means is: I don’t believe in charging sick people for my time, nor do I engage in any other patient-facing for-profit activities.

Despite the misinformation and disinformation efforts that circulate, you will not find a single sick person who has been billed for my time, nor are there any attempts in the Born Free protocol to monetise anything with affiliate links, paid promotions, etc.

I do welcome donations and community contributions towards the Born Free project, however I do not solicit them.

There are efforts underway to set up a new foundation and non-profit institute, expanding into multiple regions, which will enhance clinician education and accessibility to this work. This will be funded by philanthropy / donations / fund-raising, clinician education and membership fees and speaking engagements.
